Japan is a fascinating destination.
Coming to Japan has been quite an eye-opening and exciting experience. Overwhelming cleanliness, impeccable politeness and respect, extreme efficiency (especially public transport), incredible safety, delicious and clean food. I has a fascinating blend of ancient tradition with hyper-modernity in bustling cities, stunning natural beauty, and helpful courteous people.
How polite can you be?
Japanese people are among the most polite and courteous people we met in our travels. They always seem to have a smile (or are they just laughing at me) and will always respond to you with a polite and definitive bow. Although it seems impossible to know what a Japanese person is thinking, it is gratifying to receive a courteous greeting and to reciprocate with the same greeting.
